One Spyware Removal Program is Not Enough!

You Are Not Protected if You Only Have One Spyware Removal Program

Did you know that it is impossible for any single spyware removal program to remove all the threats on your computer?

Most people do not realize, that because of the vast amount of threats today, and the addition of new threats on a daily basis, it is impossible for a spyware removal program to offer 100% protection. It's even unrealistic to assume 85% protection, and that, is like having no protection at all.

Scanning Effectiveness

My tests indicate that none of the programs tested, even the best spyware programs, could effectively scan an entire computer, detect all possible threats, and effectively remove all traces of the threats from a computer.

Even the best-of-the-best spyware removal programs could only effectively detect and remove 80% of threats on a system. That means that even the best spyware removal programs miss around 14,000 (and increasing daily) threats.

There is a Solution

Even though the best spyware removal programs leave behind about 20% of threats, my tests indicate that when you pair two or three of the best programs together you create an effective solution.

When testing, I took note of which programs effectively removed which threats. After charting this data I was able to conclude that using two spyware removal programs on a weekly basis effectively removes about 90% of all threats and three programs remove more than 99% of all threats.

Why is More Better?

When you think about the sheer number of threats today it starts to make sense as to why more removal programs are better.

• There are over 65,000 threats today, and new threats are being created daily. Searching for new threats, learning their characteristics, creating removal definitions, and then offering an update to the software takes a great deal of time, money, and effort.
• Software vendors need to update the software daily. Many vendors do not have the resources to offer up-to-date definitions in a timely manner. Relying on just one program can get yourself into trouble, but spreading your risk across several solutions minimizes your risk and increases your chances of detecting a threat.
• Computers are not created equally. It's impossible for a vendor to create a solution to scan every computer in the world effectively. What if your computer is one of those that it cannot effectively scan? Having more than one solution gives you a better chance at an effective scan, greatly increasing the chances of detecting hidden spyware.

My Conclusion

It is essential that you install two or three spyware removal programs. Not doing so leaves behind a large percentage of threats that can expose you to identity theft and loss of personal information.
